Posterior Chain Add-Ons: High-Value Investments
Joe Kenn, VP of Performance Education, Dynamic Fitness & Strength
Introduction
In Part 2 we discussed affordable posterior chain equipment options.
Now we move into the higher investment pieces that can elevate both training and rehabilitation capabilities.
Again, I want to emphasize:
These choices reflect how I would build a facility for the athletes I coach.
Each school should ultimately make equipment decisions based on their own needs, budget, and athlete population.
High-Value Posterior Chain Equipment

Inverse Curl
The Inverse Curl is one of the most valuable machines for hamstring development.
This plate-loaded counterbalance system allows athletes to:
Control the eccentric phase of Nordic curls
Gradually reduce assistance as strength improves
Build hamstring resilience progressively
As the athlete gets stronger, less counterbalance assistance is needed.
Glute Ham Raise Bench

The Glute Ham Raise (GHR) is another high-value posterior chain movement.
This station allows for:
Glute ham raises
Razor curls
Advanced hamstring strengthening variations
Few exercises challenge the hamstrings through both knee flexion and hip extension as effectively.
Medical and Return-to-Play Equipment
If budget allows, I also recommend adding three pieces that serve both training and rehabilitation purposes.

Reverse Hyper
The reverse hyper is outstanding for:
Lumbar traction and decompression
Recovery between heavy training sessions
Rehabilitation for lower back issues
Belt Squat
The belt squat allows athletes to train the lower body while reducing spinal loading.

This is extremely useful for:
Athletes recovering from back injuries
Athletes returning from knee injuries
Deload training periods
Leg Press (Unilateral Capability)
A leg press with single-leg capability provides another valuable training option.
It supports:
Single-leg rehabilitation
Lower-body deload training
Additional quad development when needed

Suggested Equipment Numbers
These numbers depend on facility size and athlete population, but an ideal layout might include:
6 Inverse Curl machines
6 Glute Ham Raise benches
2 Belt Squats
2 Reverse Hypers
1 Leg Press
Final Thoughts
Investing in posterior chain equipment is investing in athlete durability.
Stronger hamstrings and glutes support performance, protect athletes from injury, and allow coaches to manage training stress more effectively.
In the final part of this series, we will explore upper-body accessory equipment to complete the facility.

Spent some time comparing withdrawal speeds across different licensed platforms. The pattern is fairly predictable. E-wallets and crypto consistently process faster than bank transfers, which can drag on for several business days regardless of how quickly the operator approves the request. I looked into casinomedraskutbetaling.com while researching this and found the breakdown of payment methods and KYC requirements reasonably clear. KYC is often the actual bottleneck, not the payment system itself. Platforms that handle verification upfront tend to process withdrawals faster afterward. Nothing here is surprising if you follow this space. Standard due diligence applies and no platform should be taken at face value without checking independent reviews first.
