MaxPreps Names Two Dynamic Fitness Weight Rooms as Top in Country

Max Preps, a website specializing in coverage of American high school sports and a division of CBS Sports, recently shared ten of what they are calling the “Top Weightrooms in the Country” across their social media accounts.

The posts, shared on September 1, 2020, call out two Dynamic Fitness & Strength weight rooms installed in high schools as top weight rooms in the Country. Those weight rooms are Urbandale High School in Urbandale, Iowa and Lee County High School in Leesburg, Georgia.

The most recent of the two featured weight room installations was Urbandale High School. The Dynamic equipment is part of a new, state-of-the-art facility built by the Urbandale J-Hawks that is reported to be the most advanced high school training center in the state. Dynamic Fitness & Strength worked closely with Push•Pedal•Pull, one of the largest dealers in the country of premium fitness equipment for both residential and commercial settings. Push•Pedal•Pull is a certified retailer of Dynamic Fitness & Strength equipment.

“It’s easy to just throw equipment in a room, but it takes a team to build something one-of-a-kind like this facility,” said Nick Weiss, Midwest territory representative for Dynamic Fitness & Strength and Urbandale project lead. “Push Pedal Pull Iowa Rep Luke Reiland, J-Hawks Director of Strength and Conditioning Pete Traynor and our Dynamic team came together to truly make a room that made use of every square foot of space to optimize their athletic program.”

Coach Traynor described the facility for an August 7 article on weareiowa.com: “Between the performance lab … and the studio, it's a little over 14-thousand square foot. We have everything from 50 full yards of turf, 50 full yards of track. We have 26 inlaid platforms with 26 stations here in the performance lab.”

The other featured weight room, Lee County High School in Leesburg, Georgia is 9,000 square feet. It was designed, equipped and installed by Dynamic Fitness & Strength in 2018.

“The size, structure and equipment make this a weight room our students can’t wait to get into and don’t want to leave,” said Head Football Coach Dean Fabrizio. “The equipment is second to none.” Coach Fabrizio added that, “Since the weight room was built … our record has been 40-4 with three region championships and 2 state titles.”
